That being said, I have noticed a significant savings with the iMiEV. I could easily get 40-50, 60 mpg if I tried. Many thanks, you two!īefore this car I had 2 current generation Mirages. We love our van and are very grateful to Laura and Christian for their assistance in helping us throughout this potentially high-anxiety purchase. One could immediately conclude these guys are proud of the products they sell and the physical and philosophical environment in which they do so. This auto center impressed us in the obvious quality of the vehicles on the lot. Paperwork was a quick breeze and her orientation informative. She was right! The van was sparkling clean and ready to roll when we arrived. She's a keeper! We drove the two hours to Lynnwood convinced we would be driving our "new" camper van home, simply because Laura had convinced us that this was the one we had been searching for three month to find. She stayed in almost daily contact with us reporting the results of the many questions we asked of her. Laura was very patient, helpful, and professional throughout the entire process. We worked primarily with Laura, but Christian was "at our service" as well. My wife and I recently purchased a Class B camper van from Quality Auto Center, and it was the most enjoyable vehicle purchase we have had in over 50 years of buying vehicles, including autos and rv's. After years in cars from the 2000s, the feel of simple, cheap motoring in this car is a blast. Even given these reservations, this is a wonderful classic Honda. The 1.5L engine is adequate for city driving, but underpowered for passing on the highway. The transmission is geared well, but the shifting is a bit vague by even 90s standards. The steering is a bit heavy but, without power steering, you get a lot of feedback from the car. The large hatch opening and easy folding rear seats make easy work of hauling groceries, bicycles, firewood, etc. If you can find one of these great hatchbacks (even better in Si trim), they make great city cars. Issues with emissions system may be tough to fix Rust may be a problem, although mine is fineĬarbureted engine can be hard to start when cold Our current ad includes all our latest deals, and you can find more ways to save on parts, tools, and supplies by checking out our coupons & promotions, rebates, and loyalty rewards. This review is for the 1.5 L carb hatchback with 5-speed manualĮxcellent fuel economy (36 mpg on my last, mixed city/highway tank) Your local O'Reilly Auto Parts is committed to helping you get the job done right and saving money in the process.
